Reminders are in! Click on any load and when the balloon pops up, choose "Reminder". You can set a reminder that will check on the status of a load at any given time and date, and if its not the right status, it will send you a reminder.
You can also choose to send yourself (or anyone else for that matter) a email reminder to do something.
Once you try reminders, you will wonder how you worked without them!

Burst for PIckup & Delivery Informaton
Don't forget about the option to do a mass request of pickup & delivery information to your carriers. Its on the main map page, and the menu page. It will send an email or a fax - depending on that carriers preference, reminding them that we need to hear about the following categories:
Covered - but not dispatched
Dispatched - but not loaded
Missing Check Call
Not Delivered by the Delivery Appointment
Think of how many phone calls that will save you!

Aljex EDI
If you have a carrier who is using Aljex, you can send them loads electronically via EDI. As the carrier updates their system, or receives GPS coordinates from the truck, that information will be passed along back to your system automatically. Setup only takes a few minutes, Contact support@aljex.com and we will help you get started. This EDI has no setup charge, its FREE!
Send Accounts Receivable Statements
There is a new option to email your customer an accounts receivable statement, with links to the invoices & scanned images. To use this new feature, click on "view customers". When you see a list of customers, you can click on the column on the far right to e-mail your customer a statement.

New Loads are on Push-pins
When a shipment is added into your system, for the first hour, its got a push-pin instead of a balloon on the map. This way you can identify new loads in your system.

New Search Options
Major new upgrade went out tonight! Plus pretty much everything on the June 12th "new tin releases coming" were all released.
First - When you are viewing on the map, and click on a particular load status to see, it now only shows you those loads in the right side text listing. Its very cool, and it also remembers the check-boxes you used the last time.

Also - three very important management functions were added to the bottom of the map page:
Missed Pickup -- The Pro was not loaded by the pickup date.
Missing Check Call -- The Pro was loaded but no check call was received today.
Missed Delivery -- The Pro was not delivered by the delivery appointment date.
These options will make it very easy to make sure all your problem shipments are accounted for.

NEW TIN RELEASES COMING!
Hi Everyone! We have been busy working on lots of new features for the TIN system. We gradually release some of them after extensive testing - so some features you may already know about. All of the following features should be released within the week!
AGENT SECURITY
You can now have your agents see only their customers and loads
Go to the Setup Menu > Employee Setup > highlight employee > Security Settings
The pop-up info bubbles will help you!
PC MILER - MORE OPTIONS!
Choose from practical, short and network to calculate mileage
By Customer: Go to Setup Menu > Customer File > Setup & Preferences
Auto Calc Mileage - Y
Choose P-Practical, S - Short, N - Network
RATING
New options are now available to rate shipments for customers or carriers by:
Auto Rate, 100 Weight, Mileage, Pieces and Ton
If you would like to designate a specific customer to a Mileage Rating, see the above info to setup a customer to autorate
AVAILABLE TRUCKS
Add, View and Update your available trucks right from the new button on the main screen! Click the Avail Trucks button and see how easy it is! You can add multiple trucks at a time as well
INFO POP-UPS
Look for our info pop-up bubbles throughout the system. As your mouse scrolls over the field name it turns yellow and a bubble will pop up. The bubbles will provide you with an explanation for specific fields and functions

Active Load List
You can now sort and list your loads according to status, and display the information in an Excel spreadsheet, or on screen. Once you display the list, you can dispatch and update without returning to the map.
Burst for Pickup & Delivery Information
Automatic Follow-up. TIN can automatically contact carriers for updates about your pick-ups and deliveries… Try the "Ask Pickup/Delivery Info" button.
Burst Email of Available Loads
Aljex TIN Clients now have the option to burst email their available load list to all of their carriers. Click on the button that says "Email/fax Available loads"
Smart Search Added!
Aljex SmartSearch® will display Carriers who have handled the same or similar loads for you in the past. It’s sorted both by their rate and number of times they have hauled for you. Smartsearch includes Carriers available on Internet load boards, and Carriers whose profiles match that lane.
In a few seconds, SmartSearch® can be contacting those carriers for you, offering them the load via email or fax. Imagine being able to offer five, ten or twenty qualified carriers a load in only a few seconds. If the carriers insurance is not current, Smartsearch will request an update, automatically….
Add in that you can give some of your favorite carriers the ability to accept the loads right from the E-mail. They can click on the "accept load" option 24 hours a day. Picture coming into the office in the morning and having E-mails waiting for you that alert you that your regular carriers have already accepted some of your loads! What a way to start the day!

Updates to TIN System
Adding Customers or Carriers
When you add a customer or carrier, and click save, it now brings you back to another empty screen where you can either add another customer or carrier, -or- you have the option to return to the dispatch map.
Customer File
When you add a customer, there is now a field for "Customer (y/n)?". When you add a new order, if there is a "N" in that field, you will not see them when you are choosing a customer. You will see them when you look for pickup locations and consignees

You now have an option to de-activate a carrier. In the carrier file, there is a new field "Active (Y/N):" If you have a "N" in that field, you will not see the carrier when you go to cover a load.

Setup Menu Options
We added a new setup menu this weekend. You can now setup or change your loadboard information, customize your rate confirmation, and add or delete users. The setup menu is a new button at the bottom right of the map.
